Awesome. I carried around a cherry bomb in my clay tool kit for years wanting to do something similar, but never did. I was thinking of using it in a already thrown pot. I never thought of shoving it into a block of clay.
Good points…I would note that as someone who really doesn’t write on blogs much (in fact, this may be my first post), I don’t think the term “lurker” is very becoming to a non-posting reader. It’s not your fault really , but perhaps the blogosphere could come up with a better, non-creepy name for the 90% of us that enjoy reading the posts.

Pam... did you see his work in real life??? I have an amazing piece of his...we got it about 4-5 years ago!!!
I am sooo jealous Judy. I haven't even seen one in real life yet. It really got me thinking about trying out some new techniques :P
The cool part is also with the glass and glaze pooling...not about function though..
